In 2010, medical practice consultant Judy Capko published the second edition of her insightful book, “Secrets of the Best-Run Practices,” adding four chapters to the original volume published in 2005. “I could have actually written an entire new book on just the changes in healthcare in those few years,” she exclaimed.

Latest Medicaid Cuts Hit Infants, Children, Hospitals
The most recent cuts to the state's Medicaid program will affect mainly very sick infants and children, and reduce community hospitals' budgets by more than $53.1 million, according to the Louisiana Hospital Association.
